In the framework of the Project "Strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations active in the field of TB, improving notification of TB cases and providing support for adherence to treatment for patients in outpatient treatment, including in the penitentiary system" the AFI centre is in charge of contributing to active TB screening in groups with increased risk and vigilance for TB and ensuring adherence to treatment of people enrolled in treatment (Chisinau, Ialoveni, Straseni). Strengthening TB control in prisons, accompanying and supporting people released from detention in ensuring continuity of treatment. Strengthen community and CSO involvement in TB control through a patient-centred approach.

The project is implemented with the financial support of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and PAS Centre.
