Detection and support in the treatment of TB for homeless people

The AFI mobile team goes into the field every day to screen for TB homeless people that don't have access to health care services. After screening the patients suspected of having tuberculosis are accompanied to the doctor's office, where a further tests are performed (including radiography). If the patient is diagnosed with TB, the mobile team includes them in the support program and visits them everyday with the TB medicine to make sure the patients administer it correctly.
