Svetlana Doltu

Director

Svetlana coordinates all the public health projects at AFI, having more than a decade of experience in TB and HIV/AIDS control, as well as in drug consumption prevention. 

Recently, Svetlana became a country focal liason for  LEAHN (Law Enforcement and HIV Network) in Moldova. As a result, she is responsible for collaborative and informative activities relevant to governmental ministries (Ministry of Internal Afairs, Ministry of Justice) for HIV prevention and implementation of harm reduction programs. 

Previously, she was chief of the Medical Directorate of the Department of Penitentiary Institutions.

Svetlana graduated from Nicolae Testemiţanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy in General Medicine. Besides that, she had a series of training courses in Europe to expand the knowledge of program management of MDR TB-HIV / XDR-TB.
